Fire Displaces Camden County Resident
A Camden County resident was displaced by a house fire that broke out Sunday afternoon, Nov. 3, police said. The Gloucester Township Police Department was dispatched to 4 Edinburgh Road in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township just before 3:40 p.m., police said. Upon arrival, heavy smoke and flames were coming from the home. The resident was not home at the time of the fire, and no residents were injured as a result of the fire. Roofing Work Causes Fire, $50K In Damage To Wildwood Home: Firefighters
A fire broke out at a Cape May County home about four blocks from the beachfront, officials said. Wildwood firefighters responded to the house on the 100 block of East Roberts Avenue at around 3:36 on Wednesday, May 22, the department said in a Facebook post. The first crew on the scene saw smoke coming from the back and roof of the two-story home. All humans inside the two-family house were able to get out safely. Firefighters Battle Blaze At Central Jersey Home
A fire ripped through a house in Monmouth County, authorities said. Howell Township police responded to the fire on Woodstown Drive at around 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, the department said in a news release. When officers arrived, they saw a "fully involved house fire." Everyone inside the home safely escaped from the building. No firefighters or other first responders were injured either. Person Hospitalized After Bus Catches Fire On Garden State Parkway
A person was hospitalized after a bus caught fire on the Garden State Parkway in Monmouth County, authorities said. Troopers responded to the fire in Wall Township at 9:23 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, according to a state police spokesperson. The transit bus was fully on fire on the southbound side of the parkway near milepost 99. It happened near the exit for Interstate 195 and about a mile south of the Judy Blume Service Area.
