Popular Steakhouse Closing For Summer Renovations In South Jersey
A popular South Jersey steakhouse is closing this summer for renovations. The Pub, at 7600 Nights Ave., Pennsauken, will be closed from July 1 to Sept. 20 for repairs and renovations, according to a Facebook post. Nearly 700 people reacted or commented on the posting. Many said they hope that the 73-year-old steakhouse keeps its traditional steakhouse feel. Details about renovation plans have not been announced.

Free T-Shirts, Hoagie-Building Competition To Celebrate Wawa's Newest Central Jersey Store
A Wawa is opening in Monmouth County and the convenience store chain will celebrate its 60th anniversary along with the new location, officials said. The new Wawa will be open at 3052 Route 35 in Hazlet on Thursday, June 27, the company said in a news release. The store will officially open at 8 a.m. and a grand opening ceremony will be held at 8:30 a.m. The first 100 customers will get free "In My Wawa Era 60th Anniversary" t-shirts. Historic Jersey Shore Carousel Reopening Before Fourth Of July After Years Of Restoration Work
After five years of careful restoration work, a historic carousel in Seaside Heights will be spinning just in time for the Fourth of July, officials said. The Floyd L. Moreland Carousel will officially reopen at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, the borough said in an update on its website. The carousel dates back to 1910 and was last operating at Casino Pier in April 2019. The Seaside Heights Historical Society said the carousel passed state inspection on Monday, June 10.
