Fifth Suspect Captured In NJ Detective's Home Invasion Killing, Prosecutors Say
A fifth person has been arrested in the violent home invasion that killed a Cumberland County detective, authorities said.
Byron Thomas of Paulsboro was charged with two counts of first-degree murder among other offenses, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Sgt. Four Charged In Deadly Jersey Shore Shooting
Four people were charged on Friday, Nov. 1, with the fatal shooting of a 36-year-old Monmouth County man in July, authorities said.
At 3:13 a.m. on Wednesday, July, 10, Red Bank police responded to the 100 block of River Street in Red Bank and found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said.
