Jersey Shore Man Sentenced For Sharing, Downloading Child Porn: Prosecutors
A Jackson Township will spend several years in prison after admitting to sharing child pornography, authorities said. Andrew Anastasio, 60, was sentenced on Friday, Sept. 27 to five years in state prison, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release. He'll also have to register as a sex offender and receive lifetime parole supervision. NJ Man Who Sexually Assaulted 8-Year-Old Gets 4 Years In Prison, Prosecutor Says
A 59-year-old New Jersey resident was sentenced to four years in state prison on Friday, June 14 for sexually assaulting an 8-year-old in 2022, authorities said. In March 2022, police began investigating after an 8-year-old said Raul Elias of Manville sexually assaulted her, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office said. Elias was subsequently convicted of endangering the welfare of a child in March 2024 after a three-day trial, authorities said.
