A Villas man died and a woman was critically injured when their motorcycle crashed into an SUV in Middle Township, authorities said. Robert Pfaff III, 40, was killed in the crash on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Middle Township Police Department said in a news release. A 60-year-old Toms River man has been charged in connection with a crash that left a 25-year-old man critical earlier this week. Stacy Jordan was heading north on Massachusetts Avenue when it struck the Toms River pedestrian around 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, and fled the scene, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. A Toms River man was critically injured when he fell off his motorcycle and was hit by a car, authorities said. Manchester Township police responded to the crash at the intersection of County Route 571 and Beacon Street at around 1:11 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, the department said in a news release. A man wielding a chainsaw was shot and critically wounded by police sent to his Keansburg home on a welfare check, authorities said.
