Man Intentionally Set Fire To Little League Equipment Sheds In South Jersey, Police Say
A Woodstown man was accused of intentionally setting fire to sheds at a Little League baseball complex in Williamstown, authorities said. Anthony Lindsey, 43, was charged with arson and criminal mischief, the Monroe Township Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Officers responded to the Monroe Township Little League Complex on Church Street at around 1:26 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Baseball equipment was damaged in two storage sheds. Parent, Student Arrested After Injuring Officer At South Jersey High School: Police
A parent and student were accused of assaulting a school resource officer and a staff member at Williamstown High School, authorities said. The unnamed adult and child were arrested on Friday, Oct. 11, the Monroe Township Police Department said in a Facebook post. The incident happened at around 9:08 a.m. and "required a large police response." The officer suffered injuries to his face and hands. Children Critical After Near-Drowning In South Jersey Town: Report
Two children were in critical condition after a near-drowning at a Gloucester County home, according to a news report by 6abc. Monroe Township police responded to a Woods Road home just after 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, where an 11- and 14-year-old were found and taken to a hospital.
