Teen Girl Dismembered In Boating Accident Off NJ Coast, Report Says A boating accident was under investigation at a New Jersey beach, police said Sunday, Aug. 25. Harvey Cedars police did not detail that accident and said only that it was "tragic" and under investigation with New Jersey State Police. According to NBC Philadelphia citing a source, a teen girl was dismembered after being run over by the boat, operated by her father.  "As the investigation is in its preliminary stages, we ask that you keep the family and community in your thoughts and prayers," Harvey Cedars police said.  Click here for more from NBC Philadelphia.

Wild Garden State Parkway, Route 17 Pursuit Led By Teens In Stolen Car Ends In Crash: Police Three teenagers were in custody after leading Paramus police on a pursuit that ended in a crash just off the Garden State Parkway on Tuesday, Aug. 13, authorities said. The teen boys, ages 15, 16, and 15 — from Newark, Orange, and Paterson, respectively — were fleeing an Upper Saddle River patrolman in a stolen 2023 Honda Civic southbound on Route 17 around 4:50 a.m., Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti said. This NJ Health Department Is Paying Teens To Star In Drug, Vaping PSAs The Ocean County Health Department is casting teenagers for drug and vaping public service announcements. The OCHD is casting a diverse group of teens ages 14 to 18 to act in "substance use" and vaping prevention PSAs, the casting call says. A total of 19 actors are needed for both speaking and background roles, with multiple PSAs to shoot. Casting directors say the shoot will take place during the week so must be able to take off one day of school. The roles pay between $200 and $600 for one day of work. Click here to apply.
