The mother of a former New Jersey track star and motorcyclist killed in a crash over the summer has filed a lawsuit against the other driver involved. Jeremiah Saint Surin, 19, was killed when his motorcycle collided with an SUV the intersection of West Jersey Avenue and Cates Road in Egg Harbor Township around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, June 1, as previously reported by Daily Voice. A state grand jury declined to file criminal charges in the death of motorcyclist who was fleeing police in Secaucus in August 2023, authorities said. On Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023, Hudson County Sheriff Officer Andrew Conti attempted to stop a motorcycle, operated by Reymis Geronimo-Segura, a 28-year-old North Bergen resident, for motor vehicle violations, State Attorney General Matthew Platkin said (click here for bodyworn camera footage of the incident). Motorcyclist, 39, Killed In Sussex County Crash
A 39-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Sussex County crash over the weekend. Frank Jimeno, of West New York, was heading north on Route 23 on a KTM motorcycle when he veered off the side of the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail in Montague Township at milepost 50 Sunday, Oct. 6 around 10:30 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Jimeno died as a result of the crash, which remains under investigation.

Paterson Motorcyclist Hospitalized With Serious Injuries In Route 80 Crash
A pair of motorcyclists were hospitalized with serious injuries when one struck the other on Route 80 in Warren County on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Kawasaki and Aprilia motorcycle were traveling east on Route 80 when the 33-year-old Aprilla operator struck the rear of the Kawasaki around 6 p.m. at milepost 12.6 in Hope Township, New Jersey State Polie Sgt. Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash on Route 17 in Bergen County this week. Daniel Wenzel, 37, of Milford, PA collided with another vehicle on the southbound side of the highway near the Essex Street ramp in Maywood around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, Maywood Police Detective Sgt. A 27-year-old motorcyclist from Staten Island died in a weekend crash on Route 287 in Somerset County, authorities said. Durmish Golesh was heading north on a Kawasaki when he rear-ended a Hyundai, overturned, and struck the back of an Infiniti around 11:25 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 in Far Hills, New Jersey State Police Sgt.
