A massive fire that destroyed a newly built multi-million dollar home in Paramus started in a car parked in the driveway and quickly spread to the house early Monday, March 17, Daily Voice has learned. The fire broke out at approximately 2:10 a.m., igniting one of three vehicles (two Teslas and a non-electric vehicle) parked in the driveway, responders said. Officials ID Man Killed In Clifton Fire
A 63-year-old man died after a house fire in Clifton Thursday night, Feb. 6, authorities said. Firefighters and police responded to 301 Union Avenue at approximately 8:26 p.m. after receiving reports of a working fire, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes. When crews arrived, they found Michael Lazor, of Clifton, suffering from injuries caused by the fire. Prosecutor IDs Man Killed In Bergen County House Fire
Authorities have identified the victim of Sunday night, Jan. 5's fatal house fire in Glen Rock. Firefighters found 82-year-old Frederick Visser unconscious on the first floor of 15 Birchwood Road shortly after the 9:21 p.m. fire broke out, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. First responders began CPR at the scene before Visser was taken to The Valley Hospital. He was later pronounced dead, Musella said. The fire did not appear to be suspicious in nature, said Musella, who did not reveal a cause.
