Prosecutor IDs Man Killed In Bergen County Hit-Run Crash Authorities have released the identity of the man killed in a hit-and-run crash in Bergen County on Friday night, Oct 11 — the county's second fatal hit-and-run accident a pedestrian in 24 hours. Paul Adams, whose last known address was in Wyckoff, was struck on Godwin Avenue near Witte Drive in Midland Park just before 7:10 p.m., Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. He was taken from the scene to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center where he was ultimately pronounced dead.
