NJ Woman Left Child Locked In Vehicle At Wegman's In Below Freezing Temps: Police A 42-year-old Rockaway woman was arrested and charged on Monday, Dec. 23 after leaving a child unattended, locked in a vehicle, authorities said. Officers responded to Wegmans at 34 Sylvan Way in Whippany and found the child locked in the vehicle, the Hanover Township Police Department said. The high that day was 27 degrees. Tatiana Petrina was charged with child abandonment and released with a court date, police said. The child was unharmed during the incident, police said.

4-Year-Old Stabbed Multiple Times In Paterson, Prosecutor Says A 4-year-old child was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed multiple times in Paterson Friday, Aug. 23, authorities said. The incident happened near East 24th Street and 10th Avenue just after 4 p.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi said. The victim was immediately taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment and has been admitted and is in stable condition. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
