Trio Pleads Guilty To Killing Teen During South Jersey Drug Deal, Prosecutors Say Three men admitted to shooting a teen to death during a drug deal in Burlington Township more than three years ago, authorities said. Officers responding to smoke coming from a Pemberton home on Woodland Avenue around 3:20 p.m., New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin said. They were notified that a man later identified as Marvin Taylor, 57, had a firearm and was in the backyard. The teenager was hit on the westbound side of Route 38 at about 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 14 as he tried to cross the highway near milepost 19.1 in Southampton, New Jersey State Police said.
