Dad Of 4 Killed In Clifton Construction Accident, Months After Son Cleared Of Cancer
A Jersey Shore father of four who spent the past year caring for his sick children was killed in a construction accident in Clifton, those who knew him confirmed.
Vincent “Vinny” Trotter, 34, of Manahawkin, was identified by loved ones as the person who died in the 11:15 a.m. crash on Monday, April 13, when a large construction lift fell on its side on Main Avenue near Homer Street. He is survived by his fiancée, Tiffanie Cardona, and their four children.
A MealTrain and fundraiser through Shore Life Church have been set up for Cardona, who is now left to raise the children alone.

Kenneth McLawhorn, a 35-year-old South Jersey resident, died on Monday, Jan. 5, according to his obituary from the Egizi Funeral Home website.
McLawhorn is survived by his wife, Andriana, whom he met while attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his obituary reads. He spent 11 years working at KPMG, according to his obituary. His LinkedIn shows he was a consulting director operating out of Philadelphia.

A New Jersey mother and grandmother died Monday, Sept. 8, after 17 days in the hospital following a sudden brain aneurysm, her loved ones said. She was 39 years old.
A native of Brazil, Poliana Pires Coelho lived in Newark's Ironbound section and was a devoted single mother to daughters Ana Luisa, 21, Ana Beatriz, 9, and Ana Liz, 3, according to a GoFundMe launched by Richard Arruda in the wake of her death.
She was also a grandmother to Matthew, 11 months, and Luca, 3. Her children will now be raised by her parents, Eder and Iraides, the campaign says.

Two New Jersey parents were arrested and charged after they left their kids- including a 1-year-old- home alone in a beach town over Memorial Day Weekend, authorities said.
Felix Rodriguez, 43 and Lydia Monterrosa, 38, of Jersey City, left two children, ages 8 and 1, at a home in Brigantine on Sunday, May 25, Brigantine police said.
At 8:45 p.m., police were flagged down and alerted to the two children in the home on the 4900 block of Harbor Beach Boulevard, officers said.

A Sicklerville man was arrested and charged after he pulled out a gun at The Comic Book Store in Glassboro to intimidate a disorderly man on Saturday, April 12, authorities said.

Multi-time boxing champion and grill pitchman George Foreman has died at the age of 76, his family confirmed.
