Driver Injured After Vehicle Overturns: Fairfield PD A driver was injured after the vehicle he was driving overturned on the afternoon of Sunday, Nov. 3 in Fairfield, authorities said. At 12:13 p.m., officers responded to a single car motor vehicle crash on Hollywood Avenue near Francaville Drive, Fairfield police said. The driver ran off the roadway and struck a roadway before the vehicle overturned, police said. The crash is currently under investigation, police said. The extent of the driver's injuries is unknown.

Duo Attempts Three Burglaries: Fairfield PD Two people attempted three home burglaries in Fairfield on the early morning of Saturday, May 25, authorities said. Between 4 a.m. and 4:20 a.m. the burglaries attempted to break into homes on Stag Trial, Henning Drive and Kevin Terrace, Fairfield police said in a release. In all three instances, screens were removed from first floor windows in an attempt to gain access into the homes, police said.  All three were unsuccessful thanks to the windows being locked, police said.
