A 25-year-old man is accused of setting a fire in a Paterson home and stabbing both of his parents before surrendering to police, sources with direct knowledge of the incident said. A Sunday morning fire in Newark has displaced more than 50 people, authorities said. At 6:18 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, firefighters responded to 286 14th Ave. for a fire that extended to two additional buildings at 288 14th Ave. and 290 14th Ave., Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said.
