Crash With Injuries Shuts Down NJ Turnpike's North Side In South Jersey: Njdot (Developing) A crash with injuries shut down an entire direction of the New Jersey Turnpike in Camden County, officials said. The crash happened on the northbound side of the turnpike on Wednesday, Nov. 13, the state Department of Transportation said. The crash was first reported to the NJDOT website at 12:54 p.m. Paramedics were at the scene south of Exit 3, which is for Route 168. Man, 57, Riding E-Bike Dies In Atlantic City Crash: Police An Atlantic City man was killed when his electric bicycle and a vehicle crashed, authorities said. Officers responded to the crash on the 100 block of North Maryland Avenue at around 12:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. Sundown Swimmers At Unguarded NJ Beach Rescued Three swimmers were rescued while in the water after sunset in Ocean Grove, officials said. Rescuers were called to a swimmer in distress near the pier at the Main Avenue beach at around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, the ANSWER team said in a Facebook post. The report was quickly upgraded to three swimmers in distress. When emergency crews arrived, they saw the three swimmers screaming for help.
