Route 42 Reopens After Suspect Plunges Out Hotel Window: Report Route 42 in Deptford was briefly closed on Thanksgiving Day due to police activity. According to NBC10, the man jumped from the second floor of the Fairfield Inn on the 100 block of Hurffville Road and led officers on a foot pursuit. An officer shot the suspect, who was struck by the gunfire but continued to run, police said. Details Released In Shooting At Lenape HS Football Game In Wayne Details have been released in the shooting following a football game at the Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) Friday night, Aug. 30. A 16-year-old has been arrested in the shooting a 15-year-old and 16-year-old around 7:30 p.m. at PCTI school in Wayne, where the football team had faced Lenape High School, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic County Acting Sheriff Gary F. Giardina said. Police found a 15-year-old juvenile and a 16-year-old juvenile suffering from non-fatal gunshot wounds.
