Retired Camden Hospital Worker, 76, Killed In Woodlynne Crash: Police
A Camden woman was killed when she was hit by a vehicle in Woodlynne, authorities said.
Paulette Lee, 76, died on Thursday, Sept. 26, a Camden County Police Department spokesperson said. Officers responded to the crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Ferry and Parker avenues at around 7:35 p.m.
Paramedics rushed Lee to Cooper University Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver stayed at the crash scene and no charges have been filed as of Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Camden, authorities said.
On Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 4:12 p.m., Camden County Police officers heard possible gunfire, and received a ShotSpotter activation on the 900 block of Newton Avenue, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay.
Officers were then informed of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound who had arrived at Cooper University Hospital.
The shooting victim, later identified as Daniel Rivera, 27, of Woodlynne, was pronounced dead at 11:17 p.m., MacAulay said.
