Detectives have arrested and charged a juvenile for the fatal shooting of another teenager in Camden City on Tuesday, Aug. 27, authorities said. Six teens were arrested after they were found with a stolen vehicle in Ocean City, authorities said. A new Child Advocacy Center has opened in Gloucester County to deal with the steady rise in abuse and neglect cases, authorities said. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new center at 432 Glover St. in Woodbury took place on Tuesday, April 23. A man from Woodbury has won a $750,000 lawsuit for sexual assaults that he was allegedly subjected to at a Salem County youth shelter 30 years ago. Dennis Bachman filed suit in Superior Court in December 2019, accusing a female counselor of sexually assaulting him at the former New Jersey Juveniles in Need of Supervision facility in Woodstown. A Philadelphia man has been charged in a fatal daytime shooting in Gloucester County, authorities said. Tyler L. McKinney, 22, allegedly shot Brandon L. Authorities have identified the two drivers killed in a wrong-way crash that injured three others Friday night in Camden County. A Buick Century was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-676 when it struck a Toyota Corolla heading north head-on around 10:45 p.m., in Gloucester City, Fox29 reports.
