South Jersey Man Killed In Collision With Tractor-Trailer: Police A 72-year-old man from South Jersey was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer, authorities said. John Amendolia Jr. of Hammonton died in the crash at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, according to Winslow Township police. The crash occurred at the intersection of South Egg Harbor Road and Old Forks Road, police said. Amendolia was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation and there are no charges at this time.

Bridgeton Driver, 46, Killed In Single-Car Crash In Camden County: Police A 46-year-old driver died early Tuesday, May 30 in a single-vehicle crash in Camden County, authorities said. Damion Cheeks of Bridgeton crashed at about 4 a.m. near the intersection of Norcross Road and North Grove Street in Winslow Township, they said. Cheeks was driving a 2004 Lexus southbound on Norcross Road when he lost control, went off the roadway and collided with a wooden fence and several trees before overturning, Winslow Township police said.  Cheeks was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, police said. An investigation is ongoing.

Six passengers were on the 554 line bus from Lindenwold to Atlantic when it rear-ended a disabled NJ Transit bus on the White Horse Pike around 6:15 a.m., NJT spokesman Everett Merrill said.
