Fire Claims Life Amid Severe Hoarding Conditions In NJ Home: Officials A house fire claimed the life of one person on East Pennington Drive in Westampton Township, officials announced Sunday, Dec. 8. The Westampton Fire Department arrived at the blaze within three minutes after the fire broke out at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire throughout the residence, according to a release from Westampton Township Emergency Services. Woman, 85, Killed In 2-Car Crash In South Jersey: Police HOLD for Chief's callback An 85-year-old woman from South Jersey was killed in a two-car crash on Wednesday, May 1 in Mount Holly, authorities said. Vera Stockton of Southampton was pulling out of a parking lot near CVS on Route 541 when another vehicle collided with her vehicle, Mount Holly Police Chief Richard W. Spitler said. Stockton was trapped when Mount Holly police arrived at the scene at 9:23 a.m., the chief said.
