The U.S. Air Force is celebrating 100 years of air refueling on Tuesday, June 27 with flyovers in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. The display by the 305th Air Mobility Wing includes a 15-jet formation of tankers and giant cargo planes over the Jersey Shore and Delaware River. The flyover begins from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey with one KC-135, eight KC-46s and six C-17s. A disgraced U.S. airman from South Jersey was finishing out a federal prison term in home detention for collecting child pornography when he used his iPhone to do it again, the FBI charged. The pilot who died in a plane crash Friday at a Pennsylvania airport has been identified as a 50-year-old U.S. Air Force veteran.
