Tornadoes Possible, Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For All Of NJ, Parts Of PA
The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for all of New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania to close out Memorial Day.
The NWS said tornadoes, heavy rain, and wind gusts up to 65 mph were possible through 9 p.m.
The first round of storms came early Monday morning, May 27.

As of press time, more than 600 Bedminster, NJ residents were without power, according to JCP&L. It was not immediately clear if that outage was caused by the storm, though.

Severe Thunderstorm, Tornado Watch In Effect For South Jersey
Strong to severe thunderstorms will move through the area Monday afternoon, Aug. 7 and Monday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
The storms will bring the potential for damaging wind gusts, a few tornadoes, and localized flash flooding, the NWS said.
The tornado watch includes Mercer, Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties, the NWS said.
A slighter chance of thunderstorms exists along the Jersey Shore.
