On Monday, May 2, at 9:40 p.m., Stafford police responded to a collision on Route 72 westbound near the Garden State Parkway. Investigation indicated that a 2012 Jeep operated by Ronald Sheehy, 55, of Waretown, was traveling west on Route 72, and transitioning into the far right lane to access the Garden State Parkway north ramp, Stafford police said. On April 22, at 5:21 p.m., Stafford police responded to Costco Wholesale, at 219 Stafford Park Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious person. Police met with a complainant who said his 7-year-old child had been photographed by the man. An on-scene investigation revealed that the suspect had been involved in previous incidents at Costco.
