Witnesses Sought In Deadly Cherry Hill Thanksgiving Hit-Run Cherry Hill police are asking for the public's help in identifying the driver of a vehicle who struck and killed a pedestrian then fled the scene on Thanksgiving night. The female pedestrian was crossing the westbound lanes of Route 70 near the Garden State Park shopping center on Nov. 25 at 7:10 p.m. when police say she was struck by a dark-colored vehicle near the median of the highway.   The driver of the car didn’t stop and continued traveling west. The newest stores, with gas pumps, are in Edison and North Brunswick, the retail chain announced on its website.  They will officially open at 8 a.m. on Thursday. The first 100 customers at each Middlesex County store will receive free Wawa T-shirts.
