Animal Cruelty Suspect Escapes Jail Sentence: Gets Lifetime Ban On Owning Pets: Prosecutor Says Over objections from the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, a 30 year-old woman from Toms River will not get any jail time on an animal cruelty charge in which three dogs died.  Instead, Alyssa DeStefano was sentenced on Friday to 60 hours of community service, probation and a lifetime ban on owning animals, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Jersey Shore Man Gets 8 Years State Prison For Armed Robbery At Lakewood Pharmacy A Jersey Shore man was sentenced to eight years in state prison for stealing $130 during an armed robbery of a Lakewood pharmacy, authorities said. Elioenai Aguinaga, 32, of Lakewood, was sentenced on Wednesday by Superior Court Judge Rochelle Gizinski,  Aguinaga pleaded guilty to the robbery charge on Jan. 27, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D.
