They Had FOMO So They Had Kids — Now, They Regret It: Rutgers Study
FOMO: It's the fear of missing out and exactly what a group of now-regretful parents say pushed them to have children, a study by Rutgers University has found. The study found that one in every 14 parents in the United States, or about 7 percent, say they wouldn’t have children if they could do it over again, according to the study. Rates of parental regret are even higher in parts of Europe, such as Germany (8 percent) and Poland (13.6 percent), Rutgers University said in a release. Jersey Shore Mayor Off To Poland-Ukraine Border
The mayor of one Jersey Shore town bought a last-minute ticket to Poland to help Ukrainian refugees at the border. Point Pleasant Beach Mayor Paul Kanitra — whose family is Polish and Slovakian — made the announcement Tuesday, March 1 on Facebook. NJ's Maksim Chmerkovskiy Arrives In Poland After Arrest, Days Stuck In Ukraine
New Jersey native Maksim Chmerkovskiy has arrived in Poland. The professional dancer on Monday, Feb. 28 announced he'd be leaving Ukraine following an arrest that served as a "reality check," and took the train to the border, he said on Instagram.
