Two women have been arrested in connection with the shooting of an 11-year-old boy struck by a stray bullet on Saturday night, May 25 in Atlantic City, police said.
Yanirah Davis, 22, of Galloway, and Yontay Cooper, 33, of Egg Harbor, showed up to the 100 block of north Rhode Island Avenue with a hammer and a handgun to encounter a group that they had a prior altercation with, city police said.

South Jersey Ex-Con Indicted In Deadly Driveway Shooting: Prosecutors
An Atlantic County grand jury indicted an ex-convict accused of killing a Pleasantville man in a driveway, authorities said.
Jerome Holley, 41, of Absecon, was indicted on Tuesday, Feb. 6, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. Holley has been charged in the killing of 45-year-old Mamadou Toure.
Pleasantville police responded to a shooting on West Pleasant Avenue at around 8:41 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023. Officers found Toure unresponsive with a gunshot wound in the driveway and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 45-year-old man was shot and killed in Pleasantville, authorities said.
Mamadou Toure, of Pleasantville, was killed in the shooting, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
On Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at approximately 8:40 a.m., a shooting occurred at West Pleasant Avenue and Main Street, the prosecutor said.
The Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit and the Pleasantville Police Department are cooperatively investigating the shooting.

Man Convicted In Pleasantville HS Football Game Shooting, Killing 10-Year-Old Spectator
A 35-year-old Atlantic City man has been convicted of murder in a Pleasantville High School football game shooting that killed a 10-year-old boy and wounded two other spectators, authorities said.
Alvin Wyatt was convicted on Thursday, July 27, after a five-day jury trial, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
In addition to the murder conviction, the jury convicted Wyatt of two counts of attempted murder, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, and certain persons not to possess firearms, the prosecutor said.

Three Atlantic County residents were sentenced on Friday, March 3 in the Centerfolds assault case, authorities said.
Jamaul Timberlake, 31, Garnell Hands, 30, both from Atlantic City, and John Hands, 25, of Pleasantville, were each sentenced for their role in the assault of 19-year-old Irving Mayren-Guzman on Jan. 23, 2022, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
Timberlake received a four-year New Jersey State Prison term, Garnell Hands a five-year prison term, and John Hands a four-year prison term for the roles they played in the attack.

On Friday, June 3 at 5:35 a.m., police dispatch received a 9-1-1 call regarding a fight near Florida and Atlantic Avenues, Atlantic City police said.
Officer Thomas Gilardi arrived to find a man, 23, suffering from multiple stab wounds, police said. The victim was treated on scene by EMS and then taken by ambulance to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Pleasantville police found a bullet-riddled car in the roadway minutes before a victim showed up at the emergency room, authorities said.
On Sunday, April 3, at approximately 1115cp.m, police responded to the 400 block of West Delilah Road for a ShotSpotter notification. When officers arrived, they located an unoccupied vehicle in the roadway.
