NJ Motorcyclist, 25, Killed In SUV's Lane Change Leaves Behind 3-Month-Old Son, Campaign Says
A 25-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on Interstate 76 Friday night, Aug. 16 was a brand-new dad, loved ones say.
A Chevrolet SUV was making a lane change in front of Ryan Gaskill, of Pennsauken, who was heading south on the interstate at milepost 1.1 in Gloucester around 9:40 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said.
Gaskill hit the brakes of the Suzuki, causing the motorcycle to overturn, ejecting and killing him.
The driver of the Chevrolet remained on scene. The crash remains under investigation.

More than 8,000 New Jersey residents were without power amid another round of storms on Sunday, June 22.
PSE&G's outage map shows 5,341 were in the dark in Burlington County and more than 3,000 in Camden. The majority of the outages were in Maple Shade, Moorestown, Haddon and Pennsauken.
In Union County, nearly 1,000 had lost power in Westfield.
Smaller but more widespread outages were reported on the Jersey Shore, according to JCP&L, specifically in Long Branch, Red Bank, Asbury Park, Hazlet, Middletown, Keansburg, and Matawan.

Theresa Schneider Mattera, a former journalist and school secretary from Pennsauken, died on Saturday, Jan. 6, according to her obituary on the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home website. She was 59 years old.
She was a former print news reporter writing under the byline Tery Schneider in the late 1980s for the Gloucester County Times. She won a New Jersey Press Association Award for best small circulation news reporting, her husband, Jack, said.

South Jersey Fugitive Arrested By US Marshals In Fatal Shooting: Prosecutor
U.S. Marshals have arrested a 21-year-old fugitive from Camden in connection with a fatal shooting, authorities said.
Isaac Santiago was charged with first-degree murder in the Dec. 27, 2023, death of Esterlin Torres, 35, of Pennsauken, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.
He also was charged with weapons offenses.
Santiago was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 3 in Camden by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force – Camden Division, they said.
