US Marshals Arrest Central Jersey Man, 36, In Double Shooting A Monmouth County man has been arrested for his role in a shooting that took place in a Freehold Borough apartment complex, authorities said. Joseph Lyons, 36, of Ocean Township, has been charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and weapons offenses, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni. NJ Releases Hate Crime Totals By Town, Race, More: Guess Which County Had The Most Nearly 40% of all hate crimes reported in New Jersey last year were against Blacks, more than the combined total against whites, Jews, Latinos and Muslims, according to State Police crime figures released Tuesday. The town with the most reported bias incidents in 2020 was Lakewood, the figures show. More than half of all reported bias incidents in New Jersey last year involved straight harassment, as opposed to vandalism and other related crimes. More than 13% occurred at schools, parks or playgrounds. The county with the most, overall, was Monmouth. The preliminary data released Tuesday…

Prosecutor: Central Jersey Man, 35, Uploaded Child Pornography To His Instagram Account A 35-year-old man from Monmouth County was arrested after a tip he was uploading child pornography to his Instagram account, authorities said. Alexander Mejia, 35, of the 3100 block of Willow Drive in Ocean Township, was charged on Thursday with second degree distribution of child pornography and third degree possession of child pornography, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J.
