The 33-year-old man was shot and killed on the 1600 block of Sewall Avenue in Asbury Park around 7:30 p.m. on July 28 — four days before his birthday, according to loved ones and the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. Authorities ID Central Jersey Shooting Victim Authorities have identified the 24-year-old victim of last week's fatal shooting in Asbury Park. Dymir Leonard died as a result of gunshot wounds, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.  The fatal shooting has been ruled a homicide and remains under investigation, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. Shooting Reported In Central Jersey There was a shooting reported overnight in Monmouth County,  authorities said. Neptune police were called to the 300 block of Fisher Avenue about 1:30 a.m. on a report of shots fired, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
