Recycling Center Supervisor Killed In Ocean County Workplace Incident Was Firefighter, Dad
Services have been set for a father of two who was killed in a workplace incident at the Ocean County Northern Recycling Center. Timothy Hannold, 50, had entered a container being moved at the recycling center on Towbin Avenue on Wednesday, Jan. 31, Lakewood Police Capt. Greg Staffordsmith said in a statement. Workers unaware of Hannold's presence tried to "upright the dumpster," causing the doors to shift and pin Holland up against an inside wall, Staffordsmith said. Antisemitic graffiti was found on two girls' religious schools in Lakewood, authorities said on Friday, Nov. 4. Six children were attacked by a fox in separate incidents throughout the day Tuesday, Aug. 30 in Lakewood, The Lakewood Scoop reports. The first incident happened around 10 a.m., while the child was playing at the John Street playground around 10 a.m. The child was hospitalized and released. Video Shows Lakewood School Bus Smash Parked Cars
A bus filled with Lakewood school children was captured on video plowing into two cars after careening into a moving vehicle on Central Avenue. Video published by The Lakewood Scoop captured the second part of the crash, where the bus hits the parked cars. The bus pushed one parked car out of its path on impact, and rams another car parked along Glen Avenue then came to a stop.
