Man Airlifted After Crashing Pickup Into Several Trees In South Jersey
A Camden County man was airlifted to a hospital after crashing a pickup into trees in Ocean County, authorities said. Manchester Township police responded to the report of an overturned pickup on Horicon Avenue at around 10:35 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, the department said in a news release. The crash happened on Horicon Avenue, about a half-mile east of County Route 530. Officers found a white 2020 Toyota Tacoma on its driver's side with extensive front-end damage. Contractors who built temporary housing for Afghan refugees at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst have been ordered to pay nearly $16 million in back pay to more than 2,800 workers, authorities said. The U.S. Department of Labor said the general contractor — Disaster Management Group of Jupiter, Florida — and 61 subcontractors violated federal law.
