2 Suspicious New Year's Day Deaths Investigated In Atlantic City: Prosecutor
The deaths of two men on New Year’s Day in different parts of Atlantic City are being investigated, authorities said.
Both deaths are considered suspicious, but are unrelated, they said.
Vincent O’Brien III, 50, was found bleeding on the first block of South California Avenue at about 6:15 a.m., Monday, Jan. 1, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said. O’Brien III died of his injuries at an area hospital.
Shortly after 7:30 a.m. Monday, police found Nazir Cintron, 22, stabbed to death at the Boardwalk on Michigan Avenue, the prosecutor said.

A 71-year-old woman was found dead with signs of a break-in in Mercer County, authorities said.
Elaine Murray, 71, of West Windsor appeared to have visible signs of injuries to the face, neck and head, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri alongside West Windsor Police Chief Robert Garofalo.

Woman, 21, Shot Dead In South Jersey: Prosecutor
Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting of a 21-year-old woman in Camden.
On Sunday, July 10, at 11:48 p.m., Camden County police received a Shot Spotter alert in the 1500 block of Admiral Wilson Blvd., according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.
Police were later notified that the victim, Paopei Goodman, was transported to Cooper University Medical Center. Goodman, of Camden, was pronounced deceased at 12:02 a.m. on July 11, by Dr. Negron- Nunez, they said.

A 28-year-old man from Camden County has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting last summer, authorities said.
Taquan Tingle, of Woodlynne, was charged on Thursday, May 12, with first-degree murder and weapons offenses in connection with the death of Darnell Farrish, 19, of Woodlynne, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay alongside Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.

New Jersey State Police have arrested a 21-year-old South Jersey suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a Cumberland County man who went missing for three days.
State Police charged Miguel Perez, 21, of Bridgeton, with murder in connection to the disappearance of Jonathan Morris II, 23, of Bridgeton, whose remains were discovered Monday in Hopewell Township.
Perez, described by State Police as an acquaintance of Morris, took them to the body, which was found covered in snow on Archie Platt Road in Hopewell Township.
