Atlantic City Man Left Scene Of Crash That Killed Female Pedestrian, Prosecutors Say An Atlantic City man was accused of killing a Barnegat woman in a hit-and-run crash in Galloway Township, authorities said. Darrell Dean, 61, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 17, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. He was charged with second-degree leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident. Galloway police responded to the deadly crash involving a pedestrian on Route 30 West near Seventh Avenue at around 7:54 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12. Angeletta Sheppard, 33, was identified as the victim. Police Seek Help ID'ing Witness To Fatal Pedestrian Crash Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a woman who may have witnessed a fatal motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. (See photo.) On Thursday, Dec. 8, at 5:42 p.m., Lindenwold police were dispatched to the 600 block of South White Horse Pike for a motor vehicle accident.  The pedestrian was identified as Dal B. Baruwal, 53, of Somerdale. Baruwal was treated at the scene by EMS and paramedics and he was then transported to Jefferson-Stratford Hospital. Camden Driver Surrenders In I-295 Crash That Killed Philadelphia Man, State Police Say A 26-year-old Camden man surrendered to New Jersey State Police Monday on accusations he struck and killed a 27-year-old Philadelphia man on Interstate 295 last week, authorities confirmed. Alfredo Vergara Jr. is accused of hitting Shariff Harrison, who was walking along the northbound side of 295 in West Deptford around around 4 a.m. May 19, NJSP Sgt. Lawrence Peele said.
