Bicyclist, 14, Dies Days After Route 38 Crash, State Police Say
A 14-year-old bicyclist hospitalized after being struck by an SUV in Burlington County a week ago died two days later, authorities said. The teenager was hit on the westbound side of Route 38 at about 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 14 as he tried to cross the highway near milepost 19.1 in Southampton, New Jersey State Police said. Emergency workers brought the 14-year-old to an area hospital where he died on Sunday, June 16, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a State Police spokesman. Woman, 57, Killed In Trenton Crash
A 57-year-old woman was killed and three others were hurt in a crash in Trenton, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 8 near the intersection of East State and South Broad streets, according to Trenton police. The victim's name had not been released. All the cars' occupants became trapped after the two-car collision, police said.

Ten students and their bus driver were uninjured when their school bus burst into flames on the Garden State Parkway in Cape May County Wednesday, April 17, firefighters said. Edison police rescued a 21-year-old man who jumped off the Morris Goodkind Bridge, authorities said. The call came in shortly before 6:30 a.m. Monday, April 15 along Route 1 near the Raritan River Boat Club, Edison Deputy Chief Robert Dudash said.
