Public's Help Sought In Shooting Of South Jersey Teenager
Authorities seek the public's help providing information about a shooting that took place in Burlington County. The shooting occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 in the 200 block of Ivy Road in Edgewater Park Township, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and Edgewater Park Township Police Chief Brett Evans. The victim, a 16-year-old male, suffered a non-life-threatening injury to his leg, they said. South Jersey Man In Police Standoff Charged With Killing Another Man With Baseball Bat
The man who barricaded himself inside a Beverly City residence last week has been charged with killing a man in the home prior to the ensuing standoff with law enforcement, authorities said. Larry Brown, 27, was charged Tuesday, June 21 with murder and weapons offenses, according to Burlington County Acting Prosecutor LaChia L. UPDATED: A man and a woman were found shot in a car in South Jersey, authorities said. The shooting took place just before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27 on the 200 block of Ivy Road in Edgewater Park Towship, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina alongside Edgewater Park Police Chief Brett Evans. A 34-year-old fugitive from Burlington County has become the second person charged in connection with a fatal double shooting, authorities said. Two men were shot and killed on Saturday at an apartment complex in Burlington County, authorities said. Authorities in Burlington County have identified the two men killed in a birthday party shooting as a pair of 29-year-old men. The bodies of James Gist III, 29, of Westampton and Marcus Thompson, 29, of Willingboro, were found by police at a home on the 200 block of Dogwood Road around 1 a.m. Sunday, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said.
