Driver Charged With DWI After 3-Car Crash In South Jersey: Police
A 38-year-old man from Millville was charged with driving while intoxicated after a three-vehicle crash in Vineland, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4 at South Delsea Drive and West Sherman Avenue, according to Vineland police.
In addition to DWI, Gibrant Espinosa was charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, uninsured motorist, endangering the welfare of a child, and assault by auto, police said.
One person was injured in the crash, police said.
No other details were released.
Teen Drunkenly Sped Through Stop Signs, Crashed Into Business In Jersey Shore City: Police
An Atlantic County teen was accused of driving drunk, speeding through stop signs, and crashing into the side of a business, authorities said.
The 17-year-old from Hammonton was arrested on Tuesday, Apr. 2, the Brigantine Police Department said in a news release. The teen was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, eluding police, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and nine traffic summonses.
A Brigantine officer saw a pickup speeding on Lafayette Boulevard at around 2:31 a.m. The truck then sped through several stop signs.

A 39-year-old man was killed and four others were left critical following a head-on collision with a drunken driver in Camden County, authorities said.
Gerard Norum, 51, of Blackwood, was behind the wheel of the crash on White Horse Pike in Somerdale that killed Walter Lopez-Arevalo, of Lindenwold, just before midnight Thursday, March 14, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay.

Pedestrian Critical After Being Struck By Drunk Driver In Vineland: Police
A 51-year-old man from Vineland is in critical condition after being struck crossing the road by an alleged drunken driver, authorities said.
Richard Earl III, 40, of Vineland, was driving a Ford Transit Van northbound on North Main Road near East Landis Avenue shortly before 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 29 when Gurmeet Singh was struck, according to Vineland Police.
Singh was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, police said. He was listed in critical condition on Friday, March 1, police said.

An alleged drunken driver slammed into a patrol car in front of Gloucester Township police headquarters, authorities said.
On Monday, Aug. 7 at approximately 12:40 a.m., on Chews Landing Road, a driver lost control and entered the opposite lane of travel. The vehicle continued into a stop sign then into the parking lot of Gloucester Township Police Headquarters where it struck a parked, unoccupied unmarked police car and came to rest partially on a tree, police said.

A 21-year-old man from New York has been sentenced to six years in New Jersey state prison for causing the death of a friend while driving impaired, authorities said.
Anthony Lorenz, of Ossining, must serve a little over five years of the sentence before becoming eligible for parole, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.
Lorenz pleaded guilty last month in Superior Court in Mount Holly to charges of vehicular homicide, assault by auto and driving while intoxicated, Coffina said on Thursday, May 26.

A 21-year-old man from Westchester County, NY, has pleaded guilty to killing a friend while driving impaired in South Jersey, authorities said.
Anthony Lorenz, of Ossining, NY, entered the plea Wednesday, April 6 in Superior Court in Mount Holly to charges of vehicular homicide, assault by auto and driving while intoxicated, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.

A 41-year-old Jersey Shore man has admitted to causing a DWI crash that killed a pedestrian, authorities said.
Brian Kosanke, 41, of Lavallette, pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide on Thursday, according to Ocean County First Assistant Prosecutor Michael T. Nolan, Jr.
Killed in the Oct. 19, 2019, pedestrian crash was Thomas Castronovo, 80, of Warren in Somerset County, Nolan said.

Wanted DWI South Jersey Man Nabbed After Foot Chase On Route 47, State Police Say
A South Jersey man was intoxicated when he pulled over on Route 47 and ran from officers attempting to arrest him, state police said.
Christian Harris, 42, was stopped for a traffic violation on Route 47 southbound at milepost 16 in Middle Township, Cape May County, at 2:15 a.m. Sunday, state police said in a Friday release.
Harris, of Pittsgrove in Salem County, exited the car and ran from officers, who apprehended him after a brief chase, police said.
