Car Slams Into Patrol Cruiser In Front Of Police Headquarters In Camden County (Video)
An alleged drunken driver slammed into a patrol car in front of Gloucester Township police headquarters, authorities said.
On Monday, Aug. 7 at approximately 12:40 a.m., on Chews Landing Road, a driver lost control and entered the opposite lane of travel. The vehicle continued into a stop sign then into the parking lot of Gloucester Township Police Headquarters where it struck a parked, unoccupied unmarked police car and came to rest partially on a tree, police said.

Police broke up a party of more than 100 people that was a "for profit" enterprise, authorities said.
Homeowner Quade Houston, 31, of Poplar Avenue in Blackwood was charged with property and zoning violations, Gloucester Township police said.
Beverly Houston, 57, the party's organizer was charged with maintaining and nuisance and a noise and zoning violation, police said.

Spear-Carrying South Jersey Man, With Bear Repellent, Subdued By Taser, Police Say
Police tasered a man who was carrying bear repellent while swinging a large spear at motorists, Camden County authorities said.
Officers subdued the suspect, who allegedly was waving the metal pole and pepper spray, just before sunrise on Saturday, Gloucester Township police said.
Police officers ultimately tasered the "man in crisis" when he refused to comply, according to a statement posted on Facebook.

An inmate awaiting trial in the death of her 17-month-old son -- as well as her boyfriend -- both have been charged in a murder-for-hire plot, authorities said.
Heather Reynolds, 43, of Sicklerville in Camden County and Jeffrey Callahan, 44, of Clayton in Gloucester County, have been charged with first-degree conspiracy to commit murder, authorities said.
