PA Contractor Who Stole $140K+ From NJ Homeowners Captured In Las Vegas, Police Say A Pennsylvania contractor was accused of stealing more than $140,000 from New Jersey homeowners who needed storm repairs, authorities said. James Silva, 50, was arrested by Las Vegas police on Thursday, Sept. 19, the Medford Township Police Department said in a news release. He's an owner of Home Repair LLC, a company based in King of Prussia, PA, according to the Better Business Bureau. The settlement, which includes a $1.61 million civil penalty, is the largest ever obtained by the Division’s Office of Weights and Measures (“OWM”).
