Man, 59, Fatally Shot In South Jersey: Prosecutor
A 59-year-old Camden man was shot and killed in the city on Wednesday, Jan. 10, authorities said. Kyle Young was pronounced dead at about 5:25 p.m., according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay alongside Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez. Camden County Police responded to the 100 block of Rand Street in Camden after receiving a 911 call for the report of a deceased male, they said. Utility crews continued to grapple with downed power lines that left nearly 20,000 homes and businesses without power in South Jersey after the storm. U.S. Marshals have arrested a 21-year-old fugitive from Camden in connection with a fatal shooting, authorities said. Isaac Santiago was charged with first-degree murder in the Dec. 27, 2023, death of Esterlin Torres, 35, of Pennsauken, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. Hamza Muhammad Dies In AC Expressway Crash
A 22-year-old man from Camden was killed in a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway, authorities said. Hamza Muhammad lost control of his Dodge SUV, ran off the roadway left, struck the guardrail, continued down an embankment, and overturned before colliding with multiple trees at about 9:15 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, New Jersey State Police Sgt. A 31-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck while walking in a bike lane in Gloucester County, authorities said. Quinel D. A 38-year-old Camden man died Friday Dec. 15 from injuries sustained in a shooting three weeks earlier, authorities said. On Nov. 20, at 9:08 p.m., Camden County Police responded to Hunter Drive after receiving a 911 call for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man, who was later identified as Anthony Young, 38, was transported to Cooper University Hospital. Pair Shot At Apartment Complex In South Jersey: Police
Two people were shot at an apartment complex in South Jersey, authorities said On Thursday, Dec. 14 at about 8:20 p.m., Bridgeton police responded to Burlington Manor for shots fired. Police found two gunshot victims, a 17-year-old female and a 41-year-old male, both of Bridgeton. A 50-year-old man on an electric bicycle was hospitalized in critical condition after he was struck by a truck in Gloucester County, authorities said.
