Man Dead, Woman Wounded In Camden Shooting
A man was killed and a woman was wounded in a Camden shooting Friday, Oct. 27, authorities said.
Akeem Jenkins, 33, and a 32-year-old woman, both city residents, were found with gunshot wounds just before 8 p.m., on the 2800 block of Hull Road, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez said.
Both victims were taken to Cooper University Hospital, where Jenkins died and was pronounced dead at 8:41 p.m. The woman has been released from the hospital. The investigation is active and ongoing.

Passenger, 25, Dies In Collision With Dump Truck In South Jersey
A 25-year-old passenger was killed in a collision with a dump truck in Salem County, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 5:32 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11 at the intersection of Garden and Centerton roads in Pittsgrove Township, according to New Jersey State Police.
A 24-year-old Camden resident was driving a Kia northbound on Centerton Road and the Kenworth dump truck was heading west on Garden Road, police said.
As a result of the crash, Alize Fernandez, 24, the car's driver, sustained serious injuries and the passenger, Kayla Dowling, 25, of Blackwood, sustained fatal injuries.

The body of a Camden shooting victim was recovered in Philadelphia, authorities said.
Jody Spence, 31, of Camden was fatally shot on Friday, Oct. 6, at 10:24 p.m., in the 800 block of Princess Avenue in Camden, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.
