Body Discovered In Refrigerator At State Forest In South Jersey, Troopers Say A person's body was found inside a refrigerator in a state forest in Dennis Township, authorities said. Troopers discovered the dead person at Belleplain State Forest on Sunday, Dec. 22, a state police spokesperson said.  Police responded to the scene at around 2:54 p.m. The identity of the individual and the circumstances surrounding the death have not yet been released. No Swimming At These NJ State Parks Due To Lifeguard Shortage A lifeguard shortage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has banned swimming in lakes at four of New Jersey's parks and delayed it until August at two others, state officials said. Swimming is closed for the 2021 season at the Belleplain State Forest, Ringwood and Swartswood State Parks and Spruce Run Recreation area, their websites say.
