Man Sentenced In Fatal Shooting Of Girlfriend In Mercer County: Prosecutor A 41-year-old man from Ewing was sentenced to 45 years in New Jersey State Prison for the fatal shooting of his girlfriend, authorities said. Aaron Adams was found guilty of murder and weapons offenses, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. At approximately 6:30 p.m. on June 1, 2020, Ewing police were alerted to a deceased female in a home on Glen Stewart Drive.  Police found the victim, identified as Ashley Davis, 32, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, in the basement. Atlantic County prosecutors said 43-year-old Emmanuel Diaz had been convicted of third-degree unlawful possession of a BB gun. The Friday night lights made it easy for a concerned citizen to see the weapon, which the boy pulled from his waistband to show other fans near the end of the Nov. 3 game, Rutherford Police Chief John Russo said.
