Driver, 18, Killed In Collision With Dump Truck In Mercer County: Police An 18-year-old woman from Mercer County was killed in a collision with a dump truck, authorities said. The crash occurred at 12:17 p.m. on Thursday, June 1 near Route 1 and Franklin Corner Road in Lawrence Township, police said. Daijah McKithen of Lawrenceville made an improper left turn before the fatal collision, according to Lawrence Township Police Chief Christopher Longo.  McKithen was pronounced dead at the scene. Community Support Grows For 54-Year-Old Woman Killed Walking Along Route 1 In Mercer County There has been an outpouring of community support for a 54-year-old woman from Mercer County reportedly killed by a hit-and-run driver as she walked along Route 1. Maria Angélica Moran Moreira, 54, of Lawrenceville, was hit by a northbound vehicle about 6:30 a.m. Monday near Bakers Basin Road in Lawrence Township, police said.
