West Windsor-Plainsboro HS On Lockdown For Threat Investigation, Police Say
A Mercer County high school was placed under lockdown Friday morning for a threat investigation, authorities said. The West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South was put into a shelter in place status after a potentially threatening graffiti message was found in a girls’ bathroom stall, local police said alongside Superintendent of Schools David Aderhold. The threat was found non-credible, and the lockdown was lifted about 90 minutes later, police said. A school bus had a head-on crash with a Toyota Camry in Camden County, authorities said. Both drivers were hurt in the crash, Gloucester Township police said. Only one child was on the bus and was not hurt, they said. The child was uninjured but their mother transported them to local hospital for evaluation as a precaution, police said. Both a Wall Township high school and middle school principal have been placed on administrative leave, though it's unclear if is related to last fall's football hazing scandal, NJ Advance Media reported.
