Chau, 72, was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose stemming from an incident in the Mainland Regional High School on Oct. 1.  Chau is the mayor of Northfield. Wilbert Pace, 59, died on Friday, Oct. 11, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to East Commerce Street between Laurel Street and Mayor Aitken Drive at around 3:30 a.m. Police found Pace suffering from several stab wounds behind a downtown building.
