Erin Piacenti was on her first day back following maternity leave when she was fatally stabbed in Times Square on Monday, Aug. 31.
Piacenti, a Chester, NJ resident, had welcomed her daughter Madison five months ago, according to a GoFundMe set up to support her daughter and husband, Frank.

The Hendricks family is reeling after their parents, Scott Hendricks and Shannon Coogan, both Wall residents, died last month.
Scott Hendricks, 56, died Monday, Aug. 3 after facing health issues, according to a GoFundMe set up to support his children. Shannon Coogan, 55, died Thursday, Aug. 27, after a stroke.

Camden Teen Struck, Killed By Off-Duty Cop: Prosecutor
A 19-year-old Camden resident was struck and killed by an off duty police officer early Tuesday morning, Sept. 1, authorities said.
At 12:51 a.m., officers responded to Admiral Wilson Blvd. and 16th St after a pedestrian entered the roadway and was struck by a vehicle driven by an off-duty police officer with the Camden County Police Department, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said.
The officer stayed on scene, MacAulay said. The pedestrian, Angel SaraviaEstrada, was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, MacAulay said.
