Hundreds Without Power In NJ, More Storms Possible Late In The Day Thousands of New Jersey residents woke up Monday morning, Aug. 19 without power due to Sunday's storm. And according to the National Weather Service, more stormy weather could be on the way for later in the day. As of 6:40 a.m., JCP&L was reporting the most outages with the following areas without power: Clinton, 880; Branchville, 150; Hopatcong, 215; Long Branch/Asbury Park, 350; Lakewood, 265. Three Men Robbed Sussex County Motel Guests At Gunpoint: Authorities Two Allentown, PA men were arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 13, after robbing people at a motel at gunpoint in Sussex County last week, authorities said. At 5:30 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 10, three masked men entered a room at the Cobmin Ridge Motel in Branchville and robbed the occupants at gunpoint, New Jersey State Police Superintendent Patrick J. Callahan and Acting Sussex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray said.
