Newark Man Stole Cooking Oil Diner From Diner: Bayonne Police A 45-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged after he took cooking oil from a Bayonne diner on Saturday, Jan. 4, authorities said. At 10:21 a.m., officers responded to the Broadway Diner to 1075 Broadway on a report of a man, later identified as Josh Liggins, striking an employee after he was confronted over stealing cooking oil, Bayonne police said. An investigation led to Liggins' apprehension in Newark, police said. Liggins was charged with robbery and transported to the Hudson County Corrections and Rehabilitation Center, police said. .

Knife-Throwing Man Spits On Woman In Bayonne, Police Say A 24-year-old Bayonne man was arrested and hit with numerous charges on the morning of Tuesday, July 30. after he threw a rock at a man and uttered a derogatory comment about Muslims to a woman, authorities said. At 7:35 a.m., at 10th Street and Broadway, Moustafa Nossier threw a rock at one of the victims and threatened him with a knife, Bayonne police said in a release.
